Luciana started her career in 1982 at the Attorney General’s Department in the NSW Court system working in Sydney and then Wollongong Local Court. In 1994, Luciana was admitted as a solicitor and gained Family Law Specialist Accreditation in 2001. Luciana is also a qualified mediator and arbitrator.

Luciana is a member of the NSW Law Society, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators. An Independent Children’s Lawyer, Luciana also represents children in matters involving serious allegations of family violence, risk and abuse.

Luciana has a particular interest in complex matters such as challenging Binding Financial Agreements (commonly referred to as “pre-nups”), property matters involving sophisticated trusts and corporate structures and questions of jurisdiction.

Luciana acts for high net worth clients who have been referred by industry professionals, former clients and even those who she has previously acted against. Having built her practice with a strong client-focus, Luciana’s clients enjoy and benefit from the candid advice for which she is renowned.

Luciana is experienced in other areas of law such as probate, criminal law matters and family provision claims representing various interests when a Will is challenged.

Luciana speaks Italian and loves nothing more than to travel the world. You may see her scooting around on her Vespa or riding her beloved Moto Guzzi. Luciana is also a devoted mother to two adult children and married since 1984, so she knows all about marriage and children!
